need help (newb)

i just installed 3.1.2 and did the jailbreak on my itouch 2g,with blackrain.the blackrain app is on there so i assume i did the jailbreak right.my problem is i dont have wifi so i cant install the cydia and rock installer like it says in the tutorial.i have searched everywhere for a tutorial on how too transfer .ipa files over too my itouch too install them,but cant find anything.if anyone could find me a tutorial that works with the new 3.1.2 firmware that would be great.

You Mac has a wireless card in it. Hardwire your Mac (which I’m assuming it is already), click on the wireless signal indicator in your menubar, Create Network…

Go through that

You’ll now have a wireless network you can connect to with your Touch to do what you will.


Alternatively, head down to the local coffee shop with free wifi

actually i have a pc,but am looking into too getting a mac soon.is wifi needed too install any type of app?i have the .ipa files but i really just need a way too transfer it over from my pc too my itouch.
