I need help picking a case/sleeve and here is what I narrowed it down to, I'm not getting a large/bulky case and I don't want a hard case to hide the beauty of my laptop. Please no comments like “oh this one looks pretty/nice!”, that isn't helpful. To be honest, I'm leaning towards the pocket sleeve or the Waterfield Sleevecase.

1) Tech 21 Classic Sleeve http://www.tech21.uk.com/products-laptop-16-classic.html

2) Contour Design Pocket Sleeve Black http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/72

3) Waterfield Suede Jacket Sleeve (Vertical or Horizontal entry?) http://www.sfbags.com/products/laptopsuedejacket/laptopsuedejacket.htm

4) Waterfield SleeveCase Horizontal/Leather/No Flap/No Strap http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.php

5) Tucano Second Skin Sleeve Black http://www.tucanousa.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BF-N-MB154

I would go with #3, since you already have a backpack, Suede Jacket Sleeve will give you that extra protection inside the backpack and its slim enough that you wont feel the extra weight.

Well I really should alter what I said about transporting my macbook pro. When in college, I will transport it in my book bag that has a special pocket. But around town when I am home and living in two different homes (parents divorced), I won't be using my backpack because it is too bulky and heavy. That is why I prefer having the pocket to carry things like a flash drive/magic mouse or papers. Although, to be honest, my macbook will rarely leave home on a daily basis and if so, it is only for a short car ride to my other home.

I've always had great experiences with Incase... I had their nylon sleeve for my old 15" MBP (now parents' machine) and I just got their protective sleeve w/ exterior pocket for my new 13" MBP. They sell a couple sleeves with pockets (unless you like their plain neoprene sleeve) - can't go wrong with them (wish they were cheaper though )

I know, and the decision is so tough too. I just need to figure out which is best for me.
