Hey guys,
yesterday I tryed to install Windows Xp on my MBP becuase I wanted to play BF2.
While installing WinXP I accidently deleted the 200Mb Partition which as far as I know is the EFI partition that is used for firmware updates.
What I did to fix this is: booted from OSX 10.6 DVD and ran disc utility and selected my HD in the list on the left.
I than went to the delete Tab and had Disc Utility delete everything from my disk and create a new partition (Macintosh HD).
Did this fix my problem (Did this restore the 200Mb partition) I cannot check because the partition is usually invisible so I can't see it.
All help is greatly appreciatred!!!
Ps: I noticed in disc utility there is also a tab calle "format". In which I can reformat my disc. Is there a difference between this one and the delete function?
