    Hello,

I thought you might be interested in taking a look at my newly developed iPhone application, NetPhotos. It utilizes the built-in sharing feature in iPhoto to browse remote iPhoto libraries. No additional software needed for the Mac to share your iPhoto library!
This is the major difference compared to other similar apps such as Simplify Photos and MobilePhotos.

    Features
    • Automatic discovery of iPhoto libraries on your local network, utilising Bonjour (mDNS)
    • No additional software needed on your Mac, just enable sharing in iPhoto
    • View and interact with your photos without syncing your complete photo library to your iPhone or iPod touch
    • Email photos
    • Copy photo to iPhone clipboard
    • Save photos in iPhone photo library
    • Browse photo libraries over the internet
    • View photos in landscape mode

OK, took the plunge with this and have to say that I'm actually quite impressed. More so because of the sale price but the app does allow access to the iphoto library in a very smooth and easy manner. Copying across to the iPhone library is easy and quick. And it also keeps a cache of the library for quick browsing on startup.

Nice. Now, if you could integrate iPhone library to iphoto library, that would be really useful

i would like to try this. would have come in handy saturday when a co worker wanted to see a pic of my dog (which passed). however, there are only 3 reviews of this app and seems to be out for some time.
like i said, i would give a review, as i look at pics all the times with other parents etc.....i would like to try it to see the experience on 3g which would be my primary connection for this app

Glad to hear that you liked it. If you feel like it, write a review for the app.

About iPhone library to iPhoto library, a bit more tricky (probably impossible) without installing a custom helper application on the mac. My primary focus was to create a client to iPhoto that do not need any helper application on the mac.

It is only $0.99 for one more day! ;-)

The 3g connection require some configuration to your router http://groups.google.com/group/netphotos/browse_thread/thread/46621f9c2af134de
