Seriously, I don't know why. My town has one less than 30 minutes from me. I just haven't had the need or want really to go. I don't see what I'm missing...I mean I have an iPhone MacBook Pro iPad, I love apple, just never been in the store.

What am I even missing?

Your missing a really good experience from a store that provides everything to do with apple.

From my experience from the moment you walk in you are looked after at every stage of your browsing or buying experience.

They pump a chemical in to the air that relaxes your spending inhibitions. You better leave your wallet and credit cards at home.

That's bad if I want to steal stuff

they don't follow you around more like observe you, if you're looking at an iMac they might suggest things relating to it, ask how you enjoy it, etc...

the apple store is cool until you get one of the genius guys who you can tell is having a bad day and instead of helping you out with a defective product he will say you have to buy a new one and knock off the warranty on the one you just got.

Been in the store 15 times. I have never had anyone follow me. Only ask if there is anything they can help me with, then they leave. If you look like a perp YMMV.

I'm sorry, were you looking for reasons not to go to a store? Because that's what it reads like. It's a store. They sell apple products. There's generally a lot of people in them. People will ask you if you need help like other stores. If you try and shoplift they'll catch you. Perhaps advice on how to remove phones from their security locks next? I mean, this is like saying that you own a Wii but are wondering what you're missing by not going to a Nintendo store. I weep for the future if these are the kinds of things someone needs to ask in an internet forum.

Like Interstella5555 said above.
Its just a store that sells Apple stuff.
If you want to go do it, if not dont. I dont see the point of this thread.
It doesn't just sell Apple stuff, it has plenty of accessories made by third parties. It has plenty of every device to try out, headphones, etc. Good place to spend some hands on time before you buy.

I don't see the point of your reply.

Not sure where either of us said they exclusively sell Apple products, though if I was describing what McDonalds sold I wouldn't use Coke products as a descriptor.

It's an interesting store to visit if you need something they sell. You have your product immediately rather than having to wait for some delivery guy. :)

It is not a religious experience. :D
