Yesterday, we reported that Chase's Sapphire Preferred credit card ($95 annual fee) now offers a complimentary one-year Apple TV streaming subscription, or a $7.50/month discount on an active Apple One subscription instead.

It turns out that the Apple One discount now extends to Chase's premium Sapphire Reserve credit card too ($795 annual fee). The Sapphire Reserve has offered free subscriptions to both Apple TV and Apple Music since last year, but now cardholders can receive a combined $15/month discount on an Apple One subscription instead.

For example, a Reddit user showed that their Apple One Premier plan has been discounted to $21.95 per month, down from the regular price of $37.95 per month. This is actually a $16/month discount, which is slightly higher than advertised.

You can manage your Apple perks on Chase.com or in the Chase Mobile app. Make sure to read the fine print on Chase's Sapphire Reserve page.

If it was more than a one time thing, it would definitely be more useful. e.g. some cards (Amex for example) give you $x/month for streaming services without a one year cap.

It should show up under benefits. In the app, it’s in Benefits & Rewards.

It’s also two benefits, one for Apple TV and one for Apple Music. But if you have Apple One, they’ll apply a discount instead.
Thanks for that. Trying to find it on the desktop version of chase.com wasn't fun.

Did anything show up after you linked your account? I have an Apple One Premier subscription and I linked my account within the Chase App and got an overlapping subscriptions notice & email from Apple. Nothing has showed up in the Apple Subscriptions section about an Apple One discount (despite the fine print in the Chase app stating it would be...)

I got the same but a few Reddit posts are saying it should resolve on the renewal date. Others are also saying if you cancel the subscriptions and readd them, it should show the discounted rate immediately.

My renewal date is on the 30th so I’m just gonna wait.

My Apple One billing cycle date was on the 14th and I had activated the benefits on Chase and it automatically applied. So it should apply on your Apple billing cycle date.

Thanks! Mine had renewed on the 4th so I'll keep an eye out at the next cycle.

So, what if this applies to the Chase Sapphire Reserve for ATV and Apple Music, what is the credit towards Apple One. If this works will be an awesome add by Chase/Apple.

It's rumored that the Apple Card will be handled by Chase instead of Goldman Sachs... It's an interesting read.

I never know how to take advantage of these benefits. I am currently paying for Apple One Premier, how do I get Chase to discount my subscrption or do I have to subscribe through my Chase account?

Go to chase app. Click on activate. It’ll bounce you to the Apple TV and Apple Music apps and you accept. Seemed to work for my existing apple one subscription. But I think the price reflects on next charge

God send. Worked, thank you!

Us Chase Sapphire Reserve for business card holders continue to cry. Fair warning…. don’t get this version, there’s way better and cheaper business cards.

Sweet - thanks. Currently have Apple Music/ATV/2 TB storage and when I got to upgrade to Apple One Premium it says try for one month free. If I accept, assume the credit will hit the following month then, when I get billed?

I have the CSR, and if the Apple One could be applied for free. That would be a nice perk. It's a good card but it takes a bit of work to justify the high AF utilizing the credits.
