iPod touch New folder created everytime I sync

Whenever i plug in my touch to sync with iTunes, and new folder called "iPod photo cache" is created on my desktop everytime.

It doesn't contain anything and doesn't really have any effect but I just find it annoying deleting this everytime.

How do I stop it doing this?

Do you sync photos with ur touch? Go to the Photos tab and just select a picture folder and that Cache file will be there, and it will stay there, but it won't be on ur desktop.
