iPod touch New iPod touch specs

Hi, I've written a simple app that tells you a few things about your iPod touch, such as CPU clock speed, RAM amount, bus speed, etc.

I don't think that Apple would approve an app like that, so if anyone has a new iPod touch 3G 32 or 64 GB, could you PM me, and I can give you the app via the Ad hoc distribution method.

Wow the 3rd gen touch gets 30 hours of audio while the 2nd gen gets 36.

I saw that too but if you look on apple.com they downgraded the second gen to 30 hours. But you also have to take into consideration how much more powerful the 3rd gen is so it takes up more power

Im going to use my Touch for mostly music, I have a JB 3GS too...should I just get the 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen touch?

I have a 1st gen 32 gig touch and since the 3.0 update its been slow when navigating thru my 4,000 songs

Depends what you want for speed and gaming, my 2nd Gen was really fast and nice but it didnt have the 256MB ram which is a really nice upgrade. I'd go with the 32GB 3rd Gen if you don't need 64GB
