I bought a MBP two years ago on BF for $1,049. Good to see they brought the price back this year.

Good grief, great price. I just wish I had $1050 to burn. 8gb of crucial ram (only DDR3 PC3-10600) is for $30, too. Now I have a gift for my younger sister who just got a 15" MBP.

Do you think it's worth upgrading a 2009 MBP to 8gb from 4gb? If it's even compatible ram..

I burned mine yesterday at 22:00 and the price went back to $1154 after midnight :D
Did not get the RAM though. I think I will see how the machine performs with stock config then think about spending on upgrading.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I purchased the mbp with the ram but wasnt sure about one thing. I had seen in a previous post that you should buy 1333mhz and not 1066 MHz ram, is this ram ok as an upgrade then?

I ordered this same deal from Best Buy. I also bought 8gb of RAM and the Intel 320 SSD from Newegg. I can't wait to get this up and running as it is my first Mac.

Hi, could you tell me where do you get the 8GB RAM for Macbook Pro for 30bucks?
And this is compatible one with the newest version of Macbook Prop 13" MD313 right?

And also may I know what is the max RAM we can put on MD313? 8gb or 16gb?

    thanks

Amazon raised the price to $35. You can find it here as Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 Memory Module (CT2KIT51264BC1339). I'm pretty sure the memory requirements for recent Macbook Pro's and iMac's all use the same type of memory so you can use it for whatever model you have. 16GB is the max but is it worth the extra $170 to you?
