I was reading an article on Newsfactor today, and came across this:

Worth the Wait

Pointing to new developments, such as Apple's announcement this week of a wireless printer, Forrester's Howe noted that consumer interest in the PC market is most likely to come from components: printers, monitors, CD burners, digital cameras and personal digital video recorders.

Did I miss something??? Or is this person in an alternate universe???

Here's a link to the article:

This will probably involve Bluetooth and Apple's gradual transition to wireless. They already have airport.

But I wouldn't expect the printer itself anytime soon. Even if Apple does announce it it's probably going to be a demo or just a quick lecture.

As long as it has the quality, speed, cheap prices of the new Cxx Epson Printers I'll be happy to see it.

idiot

the guy is an idiot, Apple has made no announcement regarding any printer, and the week is over, and they have noit scheduled any news conf.

He is no doubt refering to the Rendevouz demo at MWNY, but that was all wired.

The guy is just making up crap.

Unless someone wants to prove me wrong? Any one?

Why would apple start making printers again. There is no profit in them, at least not against HP, Epson, and Lexmark. Stick to the core and expand into unknown (iPod)
