New TmbP - Screen is on at the logon screen or touch bar is blank.

Okay so having a few issues seems to be getting a trend where I'm coming home and my screen is on at the logon screen or touch bar is blank... anyone seeing this? scared its going to damage my screen as I'm not sure how long the lcd has been on.

Don't think it will harm your screen. Are you running apps that need to wake your machine for notifications or something?

When you say the touch bar is blank, you mean after you touch it it remains blank? Does it get back to normal later? There have been some reports of touch bar freezing, not sure that's the same.

Yeh was frozen and blank as I touched it icons came back, They have offered me a replacement machine due to the space gray falling off in places and the machine hasn't left the same desk in the 9 days I have owned it.

Do they give you a brand new machine or re-furb?
