Hey guys, I am completely new to the Mac world here. That is to say, I don't actually even own a Macbook(yet), but I will when the money comes about. Although, I did order my iPad and I'm hoping it will deliver on time considering that the FDA stopped it to check it for some reason?

I'm really liking Mac over PC more and more each day and I'm actually now searching information on showing my dad how switching from PC to Mac could be good, profitable, and relavent for his business. Time is money, and PC's take up waaaay too much time.

Let me know some good places to start guys, and I'm loving the forum.

I'll add the bit that miles forgot to mention:

Welcome! This is a friendly place, feel free to ask questions (after searching first of course :p)! Enjoy your stay :)

Wow, thanks for the link renewed I'm surprised I haven't seen that before.

I showed him about a man who happened to access his security servailance from his iphone while he was out with his friends and he saw an intruder in his house robbing him and he called the cops right then and there and the guy was caught and nothing was damaged or lost and my dad was just truly amazed by that alone.
