As discussed in the other travel thread, the $3.6M is wrong.
What was discussed in the other thread is that the single trip price tag of $3.6M is wrong for now. Even at the guessed of rate of $1M ( for now, since figures can't or won't be released ) 45 is still well on his way to excessive spending while asking all other forms of domestic government spending to cut back.

As I've asked before but never got an answer. Trump and his family should endeavour to save the hardworking, salt of the earth, blue collar, white collar, any collar freedom loving American, the one scraping by with sweat on their brow, the money that could be spent improving their lives. I'm not sure why some individuals here are okay with this.

The summation from Politifact is

Rubio has a point that Trump isn’t entirely a self-made man. Trump took over his father’s business, and he inherited money when his father died. Verifying the specific amounts remains difficult.
So whether or not Trump's father was a billionaire or not is irrelevant and a deflection, Trump did inherit money & his business.

For the record, Whoosh to Zombie Acorn, yet again, and to some of you. Referencing Mummy and Daddy, I'm talking about US taxpayers. Trump may have made his so called billions over time even through his occasional lousy investment, but he certainly did not grow up middle class. Trump's parents were rich from the get-go thanks to his grandfather, who was just as egotistical as Trump.

I hear Green Peace is monitoring Steve Bannon as part of their save the whales campaign.

With the way Trump does things, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual cost today is far greater than $3.6M per trip.
When Trump releases tax returns, we will revise costs per trip. As of now both are speculative, but no where near zero.
Ah, but conversely you are not factoring in the cost of Melania Trump staying in New York and flying down to both D.C. and Florida all the time.
Good point. And where is Inaka off to this weekend? It all adds up.

I don't really like these kinds of websites. You could say the same thing about a lot of government spending. If only we didn't launch missiles at Syria we could have used the money to fund x. You can say that about anything.
