You're thinking of Bloomberg. Getting your bogeymen mixed up.
I need to sit corrected again
You're thinking Hot Dogs.
As if anybody would notice the difference.
Will not be voting for him.
Which party will be running for?
Out of touch establishment Democrats
Free stuff Democrats
Republican poaching Democrats
Never Trump Democrats
Shut up and go to college Democrats
Wall St. Democrats
Identity politics Democrats
Imprison the wealthy Democrats
Everybody move to the US Democrats
Crushing free speech Democrats
Still waiting for a decent candidate to announce ...
As long as establishment Democrats try to maintain their stranglehold than you’re probably going to be waiting until 2024 at least. In 2016 they smugly thought the country wanted another neoliberal and there was no way they could lose against that clown Trump. They learned nothing from that loss and now that Trump’s administration has proven to be a circus they again think the country wants another neoliberal.
On the Republican side - will anyone not run on a party of lies or being complicit?
My current favorite lie from a lefty is when Nan$y Pelo$i called herself a progressive complete with an “I am lying” smirk.
For the most part, and Trump aside, I feel the Republicans are just doing what they’ve always done. I don’t agree with them on a lot of things but at least I know what they stand for.
At this point I feel like establishment Democrats are a hyper active game of whack-a-mole, the ground board being centrist and above board being the right. They keep popping their head into the right and we have to repeatedly whack them back into the left.
Ok I'll chime in here.
He wouldn't be that bad but I wouldn't vote for him.
Not because he stopped the sale of hot dogs in municipal buildings.
But because he would never get elected.
I really don’t mind a crowded field as long as it’s civil. Choice is a good thing, we have a very diverse field to choose from. As long as we aren’t resorting to tweeting insults or resorting to arguments about “hand size” in debates, we’re good.
That happens on this forum, just check out any of the SE threads.
Oh, good, I thought I was the only one reading innuendo laden insults.
Bill De Blasio: "Yes."
Since he’s running for president can he resign as mayor so we don’t have to deal with him anymore.
Why stop there.
Have NY city secede from NY state. I think it would make both sides happier.
