I am not necessarily co-signing these guys, just posting this as news.

Donald Trump Is Endorsed by Nearly 90 Military Figures

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/07/u...ns-backing-of-nearly-90-military-figures.html

    [...]

“The 2016 election affords the American people an urgently needed opportunity to make a long overdue course correction in our national security posture and policy,” the letter states.

“As retired senior leaders of America’s military, we believe that such a change can only be made by someone who has not been deeply involved with, and substantially responsible for, the hollowing out of our military and the burgeoning threats facing our country around the world,” the generals and admirals write. “For this reason, we support Donald Trump’s candidacy to be our next commander in chief.”

    [...]

The group of signatories was put together by Maj. Gen. Sidney Shachnow of the Army, a Holocaust survivor, and Rear Adm. Charles Williams of the Navy.

“I think it more than trumps” the list of people backing Mrs. Clinton, said Keith Kellogg, a retired Army lieutenant general who is advising Mr. Trump on national security.

Describing the group as “national security professionals for Trump,” Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, a retired Army officer who had been under consideration to be Mr. Trump’s running mate, said it came together organically.

“We had to stop accepting names because we were running out of time,” he said. “These were people that have been passing us ideas from national security to education ideas.”

I am shocked though that 90 leading military personnel would endorse an idiot who brags and pledges to keep them all in jobs.

It's easy to say our list "trumps" the other person's list, but without a side by side comparison, it's hard to say.

Yes, because nothing says peace loving like being endorsed by a bunch of generals.

And several of those “national security” leaders—anti-American traitors and neocons, who brought you such crimes as: illegal domestic spying, illegal Iraq War, and other illegal pro-intervention policies.

It's hardly surprising they will support a warmonger regardless.

I wish I knew how to create bold text on Tapatalk to make me more intelligent.

Trump is an unknown... though he's fought battles in a boardroom, most of the 'deaths' were actually careers.

The difference is that no one is under the illusion that Hillary will end the wars in the Middle East.

Which is hilarious, because there presumably (almost guaranteed) are millions of Hillary supporters who were “antiwar” / “Bush is Hitler!” with Bush as POTUS, but have been completely silent with Bush 2.0bama as POTUS and mindlessly support Hillary who is Bush 3.0 and probably will be worse than Bush and Obama combined. Fake liberals who were not antiwar, only anti-Bush/Republican: #ImWithHer

i dont think the word fake liberals is accurate. you could maybe say "hypocritical" but i'm not sure if i necessarily would agree with you. i hate regime change because of the fallout, but what about the people who say, "libyans are oppressed, so we're going to topple a dictator so they can experience democracy"

obviously easier said than done, but the thought process for some democrats (i suspect) is "guys a dictator and his people are suffering from his tyranny. let's take him out" instead of propping up someone maybe you could "supervise" a democratic election?

what about not taking a war approach? don't do anything to the dictator (i.e. regime change) but have humanitarian missions to help people suffering from food shortages or whatever.

Hypocrisy and fake are essentially the exact same.

Anyone who was “antiwar” with Bush but not with New Bush Obama or New Bush Hillary, is a fake liberal. Call them hypocrites if that term is more to your liking—it is the same as saying they’re fake.

Yeah! Because there's no such thing as nuance! If things are similar in any way, they are the same! And it's hypocritical to look at the differences if they are the same. o_O

Anyone who is "anti-cookie" with pooh-filled cookies, but not with New chocolate chip or New oatmeal raisin is a fake eater.
