    At the school I used to work at and I know of another - it was one of the more popular foreign languages (students wanted to go into Business or Finance in college).

    I'm sure. By the time I'm near my death, I bet it becomes the language of world commerce. And we only have ourselves to blame.

    The Sci-Fi Series "Firefly" has already predicted that - a bilingual Earth, English and Chinese being the common languages...

    Or Japanese. They have just as much.

    I remember the jokes back in the 80's about all the Japanese tourists. They're not just taking pictures, they're taking inventory.

    I have been working on my handwriting, actually. Legibility has always been a problem. Perhaps Chinese calligraphy classes should be taken.
