Although I don't know if anyone else has commented on this. I haven't been bothered to check the forum.

Did Apple simply 'lose' the iPhone Prototype to get our reactions? Cause that is easily what has happened. Everyone has shared their two cents and they get a whoooooooole bunch of free feedback.

    Sneaky Sneaky Apple ;)

Not their style. This was not a controlled leak.

I still believe this was done on purpose, that letter from Apple to Gizmodo was so cheezy and unprofessional.

I used to work with a company that tested new electronic boards for different devices and they take so much care not to reveal any components at all.

"You haven't bothered". Sums it up really doesn’t it.

Really, Apple wants close up pics of its new phone's innards splashed across the internet for their competitors to see before the phone is released.

They would not have left the phone in a bar if was to be a controlled leak, they wouldve wanted a tech oriented person to find it or else they might not have ever taken the case off.

I think Apple sent this "Gray Powell" person out to plant the iPhone in that bar. Seriously, what are the chances that this thing was legitimately "lost"?
