Once in a while, you see something that's just so nifty it makes you smile.
The Goldfish Racetrack.
That is right cool. I had no idea that goldfish are "long distance swimmers," though -- are they sure on that? Don't see too many of those little guys in the ocean or anything.
It would be really neat to design things like this on a full-time basis.
I would even consider getting some fish to put in it!!!!
hahahah quite fun looking althought eh poor things might get tuckered out
I wonder if you could rig up a system that would allow you to connect a couple of Scalextric controllers to it, you know electrifying the water behind the fish a little to make them swim that bit faster??
Us humane goldfish racers prefer to race our fish in a water+powerbar liquid suspension.
Who's going to get these and paint numbers on their fish
Very cool idea and much better than the fish bowl....
I guess they'll just have to start selectively breeding goldfish until they grow their own numbers
So sad to think that virtually every goldfish alive is in a round bowl and therefore "unhappy".
Still, this is an excellent design - I wonder if the fish tend to swim a lot or just hide behind the plants.
How does it know ists "hiding." There is always a way to see the fish, even if it is "behind" the plant.
Why not just put a plant in the middle of a square aquarium? No magnification, and the goldfish swims in circles for hours and hours.....and dies.
they would do if you held a Le Mans 24 hour type race with my Scalextric suggestion.
Does anyone make aluminum wings and tiny little "Type R" stickers for my Goldfish? My goldfish is a boy racer. He already has the Nitrous upgrade.
add a stopwatch, a webcam and connect it to your mac and you'll get an ultimate racing platform Just imagine this: Your fish can race via Internet with your friends fish *gg*
