nMP keeps waking up my monitor briefly and itself

I recently got a nMP and I have found that it keeps waking up my monitor (no computer image on screen; just wakes up for a short time and goes back to sleep) when the nMP is supposed to be sleep. I do have this computer wirelessly connected to a Time Capsule so I figure that has something to do with it. I turned off power nap and wake for network access but I am still having the problem. The nMPalso seems to be waking whenever it wants. Can anyone guide me on how I go about diagnosing this problem? I saw an old thread where this problem was mentioned but the commands in terminal to see the reason for the sleep/wake did not work for me.

    Thank you all.

My laptop would do this now and then after a shut down/restart. No rhyme or reason and conventional troubleshooting has not uncovered the issue. I've just shut the monitor off while its misbehaving. It seems to eventually settle down.

No help, I know... let us know if you find something that works :)

This is so frustrating. I can't even put my computer to sleep. It wakes and stays on indefinitely. The screen just does not come on. I did a terminal command and I get the following:

localhost kernel[0]: (AppleTopCaseHIDEventDriver) [HID] [ATC] AppleDeviceManagementHIDEventService::processWakeReason Wake reason: Host (0x01)

localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) AppleACPIPlatformPower Wake reason: EC.DarkPME (Maintenance)

Is this a HS problem? Before this, I was on Yosemite on an older computer. I hate being on the latest OS version for bugs.

I have the same problem, and it is related to energy settings: Wake for network access and Power Nap. When these are disabled, the computer sleeps fine without waking the monitor.

What is the terminal command? My computer sleeps fine, only it wakes the monitor ever so often.

Just saying that neither of those settings, nor any others including a clean OS install helped me... on the other hand, I haven't been seeing/noticing the wake issue since the laptop logic board was replaced the second time 8 months ago.

Like ColdCase mentioned, none of those things work. I did everything. Fresh OS, downgrade to older OS, safe mode, remove bluetooth wakeup, etc.

I'll see if Apple can help but I think I may have found the cause but I didn't have time to dig deeper. I will later today.
