I wanted to create '.mov' or 'mp4' video clips with subtitle filter added in ffmpegX. I haven't registered yet with ffmpegX since I'm just trying it out.
1) I added '.mov' clip to video box in 'ffmpegX' and I added SUB filter. The final product .avi does have the sub added but audio. Even I don't use subtitle, somehow any video I converted using ffmepgX do not have audio at the end. What am I doing wrong?
I even used the default setting

2) Is there the best tool to imbed subtitles to video for hardsub in mac. I've tried Submerge. It works but there's a lot of limitation (.ass etc can'be recoginized)
