I wouldn't say fine because its not, not even in its class and definitely not for the price, Apple could do better, that beings said the X1600 is more than enough for the average iMac consumer I guess so its no biggie.

Actually i think that the X1600 suits me just fine.


The way it looks, the MBPs are just going to se a merom. hope it's worth the wait for you guys.:rolleyes:

Who's to say that the clock speed of the x1600 didn't get bumped up a bit since the Core 2 Duo supposedly generates less heat at the same clock speed?

Also, the nVidia cards in the 24 inch machine aren't a GPU bump?
