I've had to cut back because I broke my arm.

This probably doesn't count as non-computer (it's a MMORPG), but I don't know many people who play them: http://www.shadowmere.co.uk
I also dabble a bit in Magic: The Gathering, and other weird games my friend picks up.
The reason dice were (was?) invented.
Great thread as always, pimentoLoaf.
there are NON-computer games now?!
There are some really great "board games" out there. I especially like reversi/othello, backgamon and chess.
The greatest thing about them is also their greatest drawback: you play them with real people. If you're on your own, you can't play them
And it's no fun thrashing a PC at othello or being thrashed by a PC at chess.
There really are. I like a lot of them but my favorites are perhaps "Settlers of Catan" and "Axis&Allies".
The game industry here in Germany produces many fun board games, most of them are probably unknown in the US or elsewhere.
I'm rather partial to Scrabble.
However, I have to mention the most amazing game ever. I spent a good portion of my GCSEs and A levels playing cards with my friends at school. Cards in general were good. However, we came across a game called Mhing one time at my friends house. It took us half the night to work out the instructions, and then spent the whole night playing it. Sadly, the game was lost along the way, and we just remembered it fondly.
Recently though, I thought I'd search for it on eBay, and got a copy. When my friend gets back from a six month stint as an engineer on a cruise ship, the four of us are going to have a Mhing session. I can't wait.
Diplomacy by Avalon Hill. The absolute best strategy game I've ever played.
I have a confession to make, I've been playing Pokemon, silver edition on my gameboy.
Chess. well... I've played it 5 times in my life. 3 times against chess club geniuses (they used our form room at school!) and twice against my girlfriend. interestingly since playing Advance Wars 1,2 and DS I've beat her once. now she's scared
Snakes and Ladders is a fun game of luck.
Used to play Story of Life (or whatever it was called) where you weaved around tiles getting married etc. silly but fun.
Scrabble against my girlfriends house mates.
Battleships is always fun! or was. I can't find mine anymore.
GUESS WHO! That's my fave. I was trying to remember it. but this game. wow. It was just brilliant to play when I was a kid. they should make an online version
Life is a nice board game, too.
Gin Rummy is a nice card game, along with Go FIsh.
go to http://www.playsite.com and go down, and sign up for tangleword. It's online boggle, but it is a 5x5 square instead of a 4x4 square. It's really fun!
