    Some call the change unconstitutional. Why?

    I also read that they might be doing the right thing for the wrong reasons.

    If this was so important why not do it before the incumbent governor took office.

    I have no knowledge of NC politics but it seems diminishing the powers of the governor go counter to the job.

    There could be positions for which requiring confirmation by the Senate is not warranted.

    GOP snowflakes in NC. Once the demographics in places like NC play out so the GOP is truly in the minority, this kind of stunt will be remembered. And some wonder why legislators are held in such low regard across the US....
