Yeah, they won't have production capability for a few years, and they won't be able to use them for another few years, but the path is clear. They're getting close.

Can we just have a international nuclear response of dropping a nuke on North Korea and calling it a day?

Pushing China. We trusted that China was keeping NK in check, and they clearly didn't.

I trust in the tried and true method of mutually assured destruction, would shouldn't be, and we have no right to, impede other nations from entering the nuclear, or space age.

That would seem to me to be the best avenue. But perhaps it's in China's interest to have an attack dog that can occupy our attention and allow it some degree of deniability. What incentive could we offer that would make it worth China's efforts to rein in North Korea?

General MacArthur was right all along. If Truman had allowed him to follow through with his plans, today we'd not only have a free Korea, but a free China as well, with Mao Tse-tung's head either on a tray or cowering under Stalin's dress.

And much of the radiation would have already decayed.

    Such a lost opportunity. :(

Well it's a good thing that the US have an experienced diplomat at the helm then.

We don't need an experienced diplomat. We just need a leader who can deftly wield the Nuclear Codes like it was his ATM PIN number.

We just need to have him killed and call it a day. Make it look like an ISIS attack and let the games begin.

I say Nuke the capital of NK. That should slow him down nicely.

You must be one of those who voted for Trump because he wasn't "Warmonger Hillary".

    Inhumane measure.

A point for honesty. But minus a million points for immorality.

Doesn't work like that. You're just going to start a war or more serious conflicts by doing this. Kim Jong Un isn't the only person in North Korea with his attitude.

Unless we can build a huge bubble over North Korea how do we stop a mad man that we really don't have any intelligence on. And how do we even know the information out of Pyongyang is even accurate either way? These people are the masters of propaganda.

Given the US failed in Vietnam I hardly think they could have beaten China...
