Other Not qualified for a new iUP loan. Can I still just return the phone?

I don't quality for a new iPhone Upgrade Program loan. Can I still send the 13 back without getting a new phone or send it back and just pay full price for a new phone?

Yes, I was approved for the 13 last year, but getting denied now for the 14.

Yes, but I only want to know if I can just return the phone without getting a new one. It looks like I can. I tried to setup the pre pre-order just now and chose to pay in full. I got a message saying I would be leaving the program and would have to return the phone to close out the loan.

My understanding is the only way to terminate the program is to upgrade to the new one and return your existing after 12 payments. It’s a loan, and you either pay the full 24 payments or upgrade after 12.

That’s how it’s been in the past. I don’t know if it’s changed, but you can find a few threads here discussing this.
