Noticing a major performance drop in my rMBP when it comes to games.

Up until a few days ago my rMBP was a beast for games. The past few nights I have really started to notice a drop in performance and FPS while playing any game.

My spring 2011 MBP is now outperforming my rMBP when I compare them side to side playing WoW with the exact same settings and resolution by about 25 fps!
A few days ago I could play CS:GO with topped out graphics settings and stay above 60 fps, now I do good to stay in the 30-40 range! Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? It's extremely frustrating to say the least.

reset ur SMC

push shift + control + option + power button all at the same time when ur rmbp is powered off. Then turn it on and you should be good to go.

unfortunately fix only works for a while, after sleeping the problem might appear again. should probably report this issue to apple!
