    Great info, thanks.

I was curious what Apple had done previously on BF.

Did it start Friday in the AM? and was valid all day?

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know if these can be combined with educational savings?

Someone said in 2005, black friday on apple.com started long after midnight.

Other posts say 2006 was at midnight (pacific time) and couldn't combine education discounts. It went all day, Canada was the same day, and the UK did their version Dec. 1.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Black Friday savings can be combined with the education discount?

I want to get my MacBook on my birthday, the 10th... but I'll wait if they can be combined.

No, they are not. Last year they were combinable with corporate discounts, but whether or not this was a mistake or not I don't know. I'm hoping they will combine the 2 again. $169 off a macbook is a pretty nice discount:)

No, I tried last year and it didn't work out, but since I was able to buy in Delaware (no tax), it was still a sweet deal on a new macbook. I did hear of some people being able to convince the salespeople, but overall, the general consensus is no.......

I've heard of Apple having grab bags in previous years. Can anyone speak on that (price, pieces included, etc)?
