Trump is the nominee, and panic is setting in the Republican senate over the future Justice.
Confirm Garland, or take a big risk with who is next President.

For those who don't know, a Justice appointee is for life, while elected offices could be out next term (as few as 2 years).

Even IF Trump is elected POTUS, they have no idea who he will pick, and he could pick anyone since (especially after the reception he received from many Republicans.)

Either way, the Republican party will loose badly.

Its just a reflection of conservatives torn on what the future holds.
Both are just re-stating what has been reported in other media.

Trump said he will release a list of 10 names. The republicans are in panic because they are about to loose control of the boy's club.

    10 names for what? Source?
And considering the vicerol against trump right now, any list will be torn appart.

The Republican decision to block Obama is eviscerating the Senate Republicans, and they have no way to get out of this without taking massive damage. Popular Senator Grassley took a 10+ drop in his popularity since this blocking support, opening up a chance for him to loose next election.
Trump will pick someone he wants, and he will likely stick it to the Republicans for their hatred to him.
No doubt Hillary will get the most liberal judge ever picked.
And the Republicans cant deny a new justice till 2024, because they have damaged themselves enough they will not look attractive for a looong time.

Oh, and there is a good chance the Senate will swing again.

(PS, to be sure Biden was WRONG to do the same thing back in 80's, and needs to be spanked as well. I can agree to postpone if the vacancy occurred ON or AFTER the Election, but not before.)

And you think it's a good thing that he is suggesting one of the most hateful, bigoted and deceptive groups in America compile the list?

This shows yet again how empty his campaign is, he can't even come up with his own candidates, he has to farm it out to extremists.

Obama farms things out, Hillary would farm things out, all the presidents have farmed things out.

Yeah, sometimes. Though when it comes to nominating a justice, you'd expect a presidential candidate to have a certain amount of knowledge concerning the key players for the position to make an informed opinion on his own.

So, Trump's first two things after becoming the presumptive nominee is flip-flopping on a mimimum wage increase (he said Americans are paid too much) and now he wants to outsource SC picks to a hate group.

I can't wait to see how a legal institution, governed by rule of law, is run by someone who has no knowledge of it.

Of all the good good ideas and practices that have come out of America over the years, one of the weirdest and seemingly most ass backwards one that's taken hold recently is that it's a good idea to take someone who has no experience with a given field and hire him into a top position, because it'll force him to "think outside the box".

In the world of American business, hiring a dentist to do an optometrist's job is a good idea, because he'll bring a different perspective on things. A real optometrist would never think about putting a drill through someone's eyeball.

And now this line of thinking has lead us to elect a real estate mogul to the highest legal position of the land, despite the fact his legal experience begins and ends with hiring a lawyer to figure out those weird, complicated laws.

Obama went to Harvard, and spent three years in the senate before becoming president. You could make the argument he didn't have enough experience in politics before taking the big seat, but that's still considerably more than you could say about Trump.

Who knows, maybe the guy will shock us all, and end up being a good president. But if that happens, it'll be against all evidence we have on hand.

but we have no actual evidence we have on hand other than saying he is not experienced in the field, we have been trying politicians and getting screwed, time for someone else to take the lead, got a feeling the GOP and the DNC are afraid an "outsider" might indeed make good changes & show that you DON'T need career politicians up there to lead the U.S.

If you have a bunch of doctors not being good doctors, you don't blame the institution of doctorhood for their failures, and suggest the hospitals hire a bunch of plumbers to replace their gastroenterologist.

No, you blame the idiot doctors who aren't doing their goddamn job, then you find some good doctors to take their place.

That is NOT going to happen.
First of this is 6 weeks old when Trump was facing growing strength from Cruz, he is doing what he always is doing to get Rep support.
Second, the Heritage "defends discrimination against LGBT" Americans, and that is something Trump fully opposed to, as stated a couple of weeks after.
Third, where is that list?? Its been 6 weeks, I still don't see that list.
