I think it is a trick to convince people who is afraid of him to vote for the VP.

The Vice-President should coordinate domestic counterinsurgency operations to liquidate the Islamist fifth column that has infiltrated our government at the highest level.

I’ve long suspected this might be his plan. He wants to be the figurehead of the country, just like he is of his companies.
Well the problem would be that his VP is anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, anti-evolution, pro-Iraq War, and pro-Patriot act.

The problem is you support a jackass who admits he doesn't want to work and do the job.

As if we needed any more proof Trump's only in this for his ego and that he doesn't actually give a **** about the American people.

    This should automatically disqualify him.

I confess to having got stuck right around here somewhere in that piece...

...here are a couple of important caveats. One is that the conventions are being held much earlier than usual this year. There are 103 days between the conclusion of the Democratic convention on July 28 and the election on Nov. 8. By contrast, there were just 61 days separating the conventions and the election in 2012. The campaign is going to feel really long, and there will be several extra weeks for the poll numbers to gyrate around.

Hillary fits part of that bill, the VP does not have that much power to begin with, he does not issue EO's.

But the whole point is that, according to this, Trump would be giving his VP ALL that power.

yes, from "unnamed sources" third hand accounts from someone who did not hear it directly from even Trump, his kid was the one who supposedly made that call

From what we’ve been hearing of the Trump campaign, his kids have been making a lot of the calls anyway.

Not saying its definitely true, but I don’t think it would be at all out of character. Trump would get all the fame with very little actual responsibility. Just like how he likes to run his companies.

I think @rdowns was talking about the orange mope not wanting the job.

But somewhere I read that Gary J said he believed the prez should not smoke weed so he wouldn't be smoking weed any more as a candidate, nor on the job since he allowed answering the red phone stoned might not be great idea... so maybe he's having second thoughts already. Going from 2.5x per week to zero and looking at no weed for four years... hmm....

Heh the candidates are dropping like flies. Now only Clinton, Sanders and Stein still want the job? :D

It's not the first time the campaign has said things like this including Manafort.

Only Hillary Clinton can save us from The Donald.

    By resigning from the campaign.

not caring if the clown with the oompa loompa foundation wins is not the same as supporting him .
