Yeah, because pointing out an obvious problem in our justice system is tantamount to feeding extremism.

I mean think about it. Saying "isn't it strange that blacks are sentenced to prison more often than whites for the same crime" is just asking for trouble. It's obvious to anyone that's dogwhistling for "kill all the cops".

You know what I find odd? People (let's call them closet racists) who rail about racism being discussed while cheering or silently supporting actual racist acts, who then blame racial animosity on those who talk about racism.

I don't think he's kept his nose out of 1 single "racially charged" incident in the last 8 years, starting with the "beer summit". His knee jerk reaction is to side with blacks over law enforcement, even when they are career criminal felons. He has no doubt fed the flames, and is really just a slightly more discreet Al Sharpton when it comes to cheap race baiting.

And he famously declared himself as "Americas 1st post-racial president" - What a sick, ironic joke that [predictably] turned out to be.

What I find funny is that the people who always accuse others of playing to a racial agenda when their arguments are thrown in their face are always the first to scream racism the moment it becomes convenient.

Obama is right. No amount of video footage and evidence is enough to convict a cop for unlawfully killing an African American. I mean how dare he demand police accountability on the behalf of people everywhere. African Americans are just collateral damage as a result of police efforts to protect and serve. </sarcasm>

Okay, now what's FOX News' advice - with 12 steps or more - as to how to calmly change things that happen overnight, with a magical sparkly wand. Blaming is one thing. Fixing is another. Will FOX care to opine any solution to brainstorm with?

A few things, first off what war on cops? In the last few yrs there have only been a few cases where law enforcement were the direct targets. Majority of the law enforcement killed in the line of duty is based on basic crimes. Second there is ZERO evidence what Obama said had any effect on those doing the shootings. Something the blogger nor you have supported. Third, what Obama said is not wrong, many in this country, including non-blacks feel that there is an injustice within the justice system when it comes to law enforcement. Far to often law enforcement get off with nothing but a slap on the hand for a crime or incident where a civilian counterpart would receive a much harsher punishment. So what Obama said, fits with the views of many in this country. Lastly if you hold Obama responsible for his words, then Trump is equally if not more so responsible for the actions of his supporters when they act out towards others at his rallies for his rhetoric about the old days of beating people up and so on.

    Ill leave this quote

They need a war to fight since the War on Christmas is only fought for about 8-10 weeks a year.

Just because two things may correlate does not imply causality. It's just as likely that the increased cop shootings have cause Obama to be elected.

Lottery sales have increased at same time cop killings have increased, therefore cop killings and lottery ticket sales must have causality. NOT

People (And faux news) will push out all kinds of nonsense. Pretty charts with bold arrows mean absolutely nothing when underlying premise, facts, are unsupported in any way shape or form. Pushing an agenda with lies has become all to popular.

Critical thinking and analysis are essential to determine underlying causality., which many times can not even be determined. Multiple double blind studies may be needed to approach truth. And even then mistakes regarding what causes what are made.

Always look at underlying agendas when politicians, and political lobby organizations masquerading as think tanks put out statements or charts. Pretty dressed up lies are still lies. And we are swimming neck deep in lies, half truths to convince us of some agendas.

Propaganda has been taken to new heights in the last twenty years. Making the old communist regimes and even new ones like North Korea look like amateur pikers in comparison. People are being fed so many lies using slick Madison Avenue techniques, it's amazing anyone can see above it.

Between poor education, not preparing students to think critically, not arming students with even basic recent history, and out and out television channels masquerading as news organizations spouting agenda statements over and over instead of reporting news. It no wonder we have elected a do nothing congress and have such sterling choices for president.

I was lucky enough to have the internet and cable before both were mainstream. Even though I was just a kid, I thought to myself... "Wow, this is the beginning of choice of information. People are going to become so much smarter an enlightened". Unfortunately, I was wrong for the most part.

Ever since faux news life has been way easier. When they come out with an opinion piece I automatically know the truth must be on the other side of their opinion. Makes things simpler.:D

Far from idiots, they are paid to voice the instructed doctrines, and paid well. I would venture to estimate half do not even hold with what they are instructed to say.

The idiots are the gullible people taking it all in as true and balanced. But as long as you were high heels, and show a lot of leg, you will retain an audience. You don't think it's by accident the girls always sit so legs are showing do you? It's so obvious, no one even mentions it any more.

Walter Cronkite and Edward Murrow have to be rolling in grave for what passes as news these days.

faux news, the soft porn channel old conservatives can watch with their wives and get away with it.

The community organizer, now occupying the top office he's soiled, has done irreparable harm. Acting like a social degenerate, blatantly inciting chaos, it's a relief to know his term is about over. His legacy is despicable.
