The only thing he regrets is that his filibuster is going to be used against him now.

Obama would be much more tolerable if he wasn't such an obsequious wuss. Why can't he man-up for once and send forward his nominee with no apologies?Agh, he is such a Milquetoast.

Just like his opposition to raising the debt ceiling while in the senate. It's funny how when it suits him we must all rise above politics.

    You're just realizing this now?

This is how every politician ever operates.

Yes but it's particularly comical when you have a POTUS who once served in the House/Senate.

He probably doesn't care about knuckle-dragging ideas of what masculinity should be. And why should he?

Because maybe world affairs wouldn't be the intolerable mess it's become under this president's leading from behind.

For some, "man-up" is a trigger word.

aaronvan should've suggested Obama human-up. (Actually, that may elevate humans over non-humans. And in that regard, maybe saying "up" is prejudiced towards "down".)

You mean give republicans every excuse to refuse the nominee? He actually wants to govern the country not score points with the electorate.

Yeah George W "act before you think" Bush showed that this is the correct way to act. Drag the country into a few wars it will cost trillions and take decades to resolve while destroying a whole region.
