I bet if you took a poll among Obama and Clinton supporters, Macs would take a larger share in the Obama camp than the Clinton camp.

I think it represents the general mindsets of the supporters of each campaign. Agree?

Since the Windows PC has such a huge market share I doubt that Mac users would make up the majority in many polls.

Well love him or hate him he is creative! Nevertheless, I have do doubt that the Mac market share in the Republican world is pretty small! PC's through and through!

But the Mac share would be higher

True. I'm saying the share of Macs among the Obama supports would be higher than the share of Macs in the Clinton camp.

Is... um... is one of those way bigger than the other?

I think I need to go someplace else for a while. My brain is trying to crawl out of my skull and feed itself down the disposal just now.

I think you would come up with those results (Obama supporters tend to use Macs), but not because it "represents the mindset of the supporters". I'd say that you might get those results because Obama supporters tend to be younger and in college, where the mac market share is relatively higher than it is in the rest of the population.

But that said, I have no idea why the OP even started this post. There is no factual information to back up his hunch.

You are part of the problem!!

The question should be 'are democrats Mac and Republicans PC?'

To which I would answer...yes. But any of you Obama/Hillary lovers that hate on the opposing Democrat... you should be hating on the Republicans! If Obama didn't exist you'd love Hillary, and vice versa.

I don't think that that is true for all of us I like Obama and will vote for him if he gets the nomination, but if Hillary gets the nomination I will just vote for a third-party candidate, and if Obama hadn't been running I still wouldn't vote for Hillary.

Amen to that. Regardless who was up with hillary on the same side, I still wouldn't vote for her.

    Besides, I also don't believe

A persons political background doesn't reflect their computer of choice. That's like saying Gay people use Macs cuz they're pretty, and do creative stuff, and straight people use Windows since it does mostly business and kill'em all games.

    It doesn't fly with me.

Personally I make my money on windows, prefer to use Macs PERIOD, I'm republican and will (if nominated) vote for Obama if need be. BOY don't that screw you up?

    Bush uses a Mac.

Looking back at how the forum was reacting to her candidacy back when she was the frontrunner, I wouldn't say that was true. Most of us like her even less than we like Kerry. And we don't like Kerry.
