His badministration is tainted by dishonesty and failure, but let's make Obama's ex-Secretary of State the next president! What could go wrong?:

A federal judge ordered the Justice Department to send its lawyers back to remedial ethics classes Thursday after finding that the administration repeatedly misled the court in the high-profile challenge to President Obama’s deportation amnesty.

Judge Andrew S. Hanen said the lawyers knew the administration was approving amnesty applications but actively hid that information both from him and from the 26 states that had sued to stop the amnesty.

Worse yet, even after the court ordered a halt to the whole amnesty, the Homeland Security Department approved several thousand more applications, in defiance of the court’s strict admonition, Judge Hanen said, counting at least four separate times the government’s lawyers misled him.

He even quoted from the scene in “Miracle on 34th Street” when the young boy is called to testify to Santa’s existence and says everyone knows not to tell a lie to the court. Judge Hanen said the Justice Department lawyers have an even stricter duty: tell the truth, don’t mislead the court, and don’t allow it to be misled by others.

“The Government’s lawyers failed on all three fronts,” he wrote in a 28-page ruling. “The actions of the DHS should have been brought to the attention of the opposing counsel and the Court as early as December 19, 2014. The failure of counsel to do that constituted more than mere inadvertent omissions—it was intentionally deceptive.”

The spanking was the most serious rebuke — but by no means the only one — that Obama administration lawyers have faced at the hands of judges in recent months, and Judge Hanen questioned what was going on at the Justice Department to have reached this point.
    Obama's legacy: Worst president ever.

Hillary's legacy: She helped create Obama's legacy.

Ordinary Americans pay hefty fines and are compelled to take reeducation classes. These government lawyer putzes just get the ethics classes, because their fining would be paid for by the taxpayers.

It's been Chicago hardball all the way with this Prez.

I disagree. Obama is one of the all-time worst presidents in U.S. history, no question, and he’s tied with G.W. Bush for worst POTUS the past 45 years, and in many ways Obama is worse than Bush.

    What could go wrong?

Simple: yet another DuckofDeath thread from a site full of bias, no basis, filling his utter disdain of the POTUS and anyone in a party opposite of what he believes, which others that follow his suit eat up like valium.

In other words, another failure. how many more times should one throw the caca at the wall and hope that it sticks?

Like @rdowns said: dude, you really need help.

Bezos owns the Washington Post. The Washington Times and the Washington Post are completely different entities.

The Times BTW was started by Sun Myung Moon, the head of the Unification church or "Moonies" known for principally for their 'mass weddings.'

It's worth noting that Judge Andrew Hanen has some significant animus for Justice Dept. lawyers and is a staunch immigration hardliner.

That said, it's clear that Justice Dept. lawyers were wrong when they told Hanen about the number of immigration applications DHS had approved, but Hanen immediately accused this discrepancy as lying.

Reagan, to this day, is still the Administration with the most criminal conviction of staff and high level officials.

Don't get me wrong, I HATE the war criminal activities of every administration going back to WWII (and before), but as far as the most corrupt Administration in history, it was St.Ronnies.

About average for most two-term presidents. We're usually pretty tired of them towards the end.

Don't recall any of Reagan's lawyers being sent to take remedial ethics classes. That's a real accomplishment reserved for our Constitutional Scholar and President: Barack Hussein Obama.

Yea, just Reagan's secretary of defense, national security advisor, Chief of the Central Intelligence Agency's Central American Task Force, CIA chief of the Central American Task Force, another national security advisor, Secretary of the Interior, Assistant HUD Secretary, ANOTHER Assistant HUD Secretary, Treasurer of the United States, his Chief of Staff, his Press Secretary, His EPA head, His assistant secretary of the Navy, the deputy assistant secretary of the navy, the deputy assistant secretary to the Air Force.

But yea, those were just convictions (several getting pardons from Bush one)...I guess those kinds of scandals just don't compare to needing to take a class.

Oh, Iran Contra. Ann Coulter nails that one, as usual:

Even if corners were cut, (Iran-Contra) was a brilliant scheme. There is no possibility that anyone in any Democratic administration would have gone to such lengths to fund anti-Communist forces. When Democrats scheme from the White House, it’s to cover up the President’s affair with an intern. When Republicans scheme, it’s to support embattled anti-Communist freedom fighters sold out by the Democrats.

Ok, so you've chosen to ignore one massive scandal, go ahead.

Now how about the several dozen others?

I have a list of them, especially the bailouts the Reds doled out over the past 46 years, locked and loaded. But we all know he'll dart and dive around these questions faster than a greased pig.

Yeah, I would rather have the Bush justice department, where it mattered more if you went to a Christian university and wanted to integrate the bible into public policy, than your legal skills.

Here's the opinion. I like the opening page.

The DOJ attorneys were acting just like nearly everyone else in this administration. Why would anyone expect otherwise? Or to quote Mrs. Clinton, "what difference does it make"?

Yeah, if your view of diversity is hiring morons guided by a mythical creature in the sky and bronze age legends, instead of legal texts and scholarship.

It's important to note what Judge Hanen is talking about here.

In Feb., attorneys representing Texas et. al., filed a request for early discovery, and Justice Department lawyers said at the time, that the Obama administration was not accepting applications for expanded DACA and DAPA until mid-Feb. Largely in part because DHS and USCIS were 'standing up' facilities to deal with the applications.

But, in an advisory filed by the Justice Dept., they stated that from November until Feb. USCIS granted 100,000 three-year deferred action requests.

Simply put, USCIS was filing requests immediately upon the president's announcement and the policy provision under Jeh Johnson, but the Justice Department either did not know that, or lied about it.

But, it's important to note that Justice Dept. lawyers submitted a brief to the court, and Hanen has responded by lecturing and attacking them with movie quotes.

And, it's worth remembering that this case could be dismissed by SCOTUS, though it's just as likely that they'll tie up and send the case back to Hanen.

That's who you hired for president. Obama belongs to a church that believes in a mythical creature in the sky and bronze age legends. How could you vote for such a fool?

Nevermind the fact that these swarthy anti-Communist freedom fighter types ended up turning on us, flying some planes into our buildings, killing thousands of our civilians, then shot at and killed our troops in the ensuing wars.

They hated the communists, sure. But they also hated our freedoms too, rite rite rite?

...but we'll ignore this part. It's not convenient for this narrative we're trying to weave.

Right. Iran-Contra broke U.S. laws and used illegal arms sales to bribe the Iranians to release our people while selling arms to the Contras.

And, of course, some of those arms went to Afghanistan facilitated by elements that would become Al Qaeda.

No to mention that the CIA's role in this whole thing meant a cosy relationship between the agency and the Guadalajara cartel.
