Heh. I keep saying the same thing about Romney. I think my parents are nervous, after the 2004 election my mother left a message that said "Turn back! If you don't like it change it but please don't move to Canada. At least call before you hit the border."

Alec Baldwin promised - quite seriously - that he'd move to Canada if Bush was re-elected.

Still waiting on that one, Alec...

Supposedly he never actually was quoted that on-air. He claims his wife repeated him joking that moving to Canada might be a good idea if Bush were re-elected, but that he never actually promised he would do that. He could be just covering his ass, but I've never seen or heard an actual recording of him saying that. It gets repeated a lot that he said it though. On the other hand, he has a reputation for saying some dumb things and for making bad jokes that people take seriously, so he might have said it.

oh yeah it'd be terrible to have a president who would balance the budget or bring unviersal pre school to fix our dropout factory that we call an education system.

It would be if the president's name was McCain or Clinton. We can have the white house moved to a ICU, or to the makers of midol to better suite them.

Universal pre-school aka throwing more money at education will really solve our education problems.

Seems to me Obama's most desirable quality is that he isn't Hillary.

For some reason, I developed an immediate interest in the idea. Good job, Goolsbee.

You make is sound like the government spends a lot on education... if only they did! ... not that money will solve problems, but it helps!

... something is amiss here. Obama will never be elected, he has a sense of humor even about...himself! gasp!

Well, yeah. And Hillary's is that she isn't a Republican. Even though in a lot of ways, she actually kinda is. So's he actually, in some ways.

It was quite funny once you get over the fact that he didn't seem all that relaxed.
