Yea, it is early, but.....
Here is my new look to XP. Yea, it is XP, but at least it looks better
I give up.
October in September...
November in October
December in (late) October...
January in November...
Well, yea it is like two days early, but actually only one for those in Japan. Anyway, I just wanted to show off a mutch better looking XP>
Indeed it is mutch better desktop.
BTW, Japan is always ahead more then a day... think years.
[didn't mean to rip on you but it is getting a habit of me writing a Desktop Thread waiting to post it till the correct month and then a person jumps early]
Here is mine! Dual monitors baby!
OS 9. I'll update it when my iMac comes in the mail
Very nice clean looking desktop Backtothemac. Is that the way XP looks out of the box? I have an affinity to blue.
I like you lilly pads desktop applemacdude. It reminds me of a famous New England painter Wayne Morrell. He does a lot of lilly pond paintings!
Introducing the new 2004 Mazda in 2003. Indeed.
Yet, since the thread is open for viewings...
I'm on Jaguar. Max's brushed theme + Apple's smoothened metal look
Here are two I've been using this week. The first is a recent pic of my son Oliver (5 1/2 months old dressed for his Christening), and the second is a background called "Water Apples" by Robert Fixx, which I downloaded here>
I don't think I've posted this one yet...
mactastic--that is fantastically gorgeous, takes me back to the sunsets over the mountains in New Mexico. did you take it yourself?
I once said that I would never change my desktop background. I was wrong. Here's my new desktop.
EDIT: Stupid low quality JPEG compression/
hah, that has to be among the most disgusting docks i have ever seen, but that's a great BG. i need to do some photography soon so i'll have something new to put up on here.
and FYI, i'll be posting november desktops on October 25th. bastards.
don't feel bad. my background requires a minimum of 24-bit color to look any good. now that is a large filesize.
Same as last month at work.
Thats the reason behind:
BTW, Are you a frikken Billionaire Look how many Apps!
I'm not a billionaire, I just happen to win bets with people and find stuff on the beach(that's how I got the money for my Powermac). More than 4/5 of the apps are Freeware, Shareware, or came with the computer.
Shot I took in San Onofre, CA. My fiance...
Was this anywhere near the "nuclear boobies"?
Yeah actually I did take that, and thanks!
It was sometime in August coming down Highway 101 a little south of King City. I was looking at that in the rearview until I finally stopped and took the pic. I took about 2 dozen, and that was the only really good one of the bunch.
The moon looks surreal. Is that real or touched up?
Hehe, I was just about to edit the above post, since I bragged about my photo ability... that's actually MoonDock, a freeware app that shows the current phase of the moon etc..
I was hoping no one would notice before I got to put up a disclaimer!
I forgot to hide it before I took the screenshot. D'oh!
hahahahaha! that is classic. i hardly even noticed till rower mentioned it.
What are "nuclear boobies"?
I'm from Missouri if that helps explain my cluelessness!
LOL, there's a nuclear facility in San Onofre right by I-5 and the coast. The facility consists of two half domes with some apparatus at the top.
I'll have to look for that app. Needless to say it blends in well with landscapes like that.
