Office for Mac problems

Hi All

I have recently brought the windows/power point/excel for my imac & I have a quick question.

The far right hand side 'send' button doesn't work when I use the Microsoft programs (Apart from the obvious answer that it's not as good!!) Anyone have any ideas how I can get it to work

I think maybe he is referring to Office 2008 for the Mac, but I could be wrong.

if you put windows on your mac , make sure you installed the drivers off the leopard install disk, this will make all the buttons work fine (and 2 fingers right click on notebooks) if you mean office for mac then go to system prefs and enable right click on mouse or 2 fingers right click for trackpad.

I didn't make myself clear.

The problem is on my imac & it's the return button on the right-hand side of the keyboard passed the number pad. (It's the far right hand-side button)

Yes, you are correct it's the word/excel/power point & entourage system

So if you're tying in a Word doc and you press Return, it doesn't go to the next line?

No, I think the Enter button doesn't work in Word, Excel, PowerPoint to go to the next line. Accidental use of the word "send" in the original post.

Sorry for taking so long to reply but I've been at work

Yes when I press the return/send key nothing happens. It should drop down a line.

It only effects Entourage when I am sending emails

It's fine in windows & excel

I'm also experiencing this issue...

I'm composing an email in Entourage 2008 and, if my hand is on the mouse and I want to insert a quick "new line" or "carriage return" by using the 'Enter Key' within the right-hand number pad on my keyboard, it just doesn't do anything.

The 'Enter Key' on the main keyboard section (next to ") works fine, obviously, or this would be one long smashed post
Also, the number pad enter key works fine in Word 2008, Firefox, etc. Just composing emails in Entourage seems to exhibit this problem.

Anyone else experiencing this problem and have a workaround?
