I recently purchased an unlocked and jailbroken 1.1.2 iPhone off eBay. I attempted to upgrade it to 1.1.3 using the Official 1.1.3 Upgrader from the Installer. When it reached the stage where it said it was extracting the update, it would do about 40% at a time and then crash but continue when restarted. It kept extracting past 100% in this manner (up to 220%!) before I checked and realised that each attempt was taking up space and that 600mb had been used up at this stage. I uninstalled the upgrader but the space remained taken up. I have since restored to 1.1.4 and unlocked using iPlus but the space still appears to be used up.

Does anybody know where on the iPhone file system these files are stored? I have iPhone browser so can delete them this way. Or does anybody have any other suggestions as to what I can do? Any help would be appreciated. I feel like such a tool over it.
