For everyone who got their iPhone 8’s and X’s around a year ago. What are your battery health numbers for your launch day phones?

Also are you charging wirelessly or wired? I’m just doing a bit of research to see if wireless charging affects health over a long period of time.

Launch day iPhone X charged using RavPower (wireless). Battery health is 97%.

Simfree X launch day Dec 2017, Belkin wireless, 7.5w, rarely direct cable wall or vehicle, 97%.

Post your results later?

10 month old iPhone X. Phone placed on charger most days at the office and at night. 100% battery health.

lightning charger?

Not sure if I can believe but my always wireless charged X is showing 100% battery health after a year.

Using the Morphie wireless charger that was purchased from Apple.

Will keep using this charger on my MAX!

Launch day, using MacBook Pro 61w charger 75% of the time, standard charger 25%.

93% battery health. Wireless charging looks to be the best option!

OP,

You are asking only one of many relevant questions/data points:

1) Case Used
2) Climate/Avg Ambient Temp
3) Phone Usage (i.e. gaming vs non-gaming as gaming creates more heat)
4) Charge Method
5) Battery Cycles

Charge method alone doesn't allow you to draw any conclusion other than a flawed one

Just my .02

Launch day X. Wired using Apple 12w and 29w, mostly overnight. Hit 0% once or twice. Health now at 100%.
