    Gone but not forgotten.
    That was amazing! I'm sure quite a few Linux users will be writhing in their seats while reading that article. The only thing it didn't really mention is that the various BSDs would have a stronger position if they were easier to install. The bit about if you find Red Hat... is so pointedly correct. Intelligent installation applications are everything to the average user. If Mac OS X was as difficult to install as any Linux distribution, would there be so many of us using it today?
