Sick ****ing people.
Yes, I chose a source that wrote the article with the contempt it deserves.
this church has had several members go to jail. the worst was a mother and farther that killed their little child and their parents that killed their 16 year old. glad Oregon made laws forbidding faith healing as an excuse to abuse and kill your children. it was this very church that caused the law in the first place.
the saddest part is tha the parents and people in the church have never accepted what they did was wrong and don't regret it. some people in the church have left but nto a lot. the cemetery has about 26 babies that have died because of neglect and a lot of adults.
6 years isn't enough for these 2.
You know, we don't agree on much, but you're spot on here. It isn't enough.
no amount of jail time will teach them. they are christian martyrs they have even said so in court and they are fully supported by their church. they actually believe god wants their children to die it was his plan. of course they don't think about maybe god planned for them to go to a doctor and they refused to listen to god. I remember one other church who's members though god would resurrect their dead child.
I'd light them on fire and then ask them to pray for rain.
Think about that one for a moment.
They're up in Oregon. pray for rain? 2 seconds after you light the fire, it will rain for 29 weeks straight.
though this year maybe not it has only really rained once in the last several month. so thats a good thing right?
light them up behind bars
My only comments to these people would be first, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God, and second why do they believe that modern day medicine isn't a gift from God? They should be taking their children to the doctor and praying for the doctor to do a good job.
don't try to throw logic or reality into the situation it will just backfire on you.
You'd think people would test their faith on themselves, for instance by trying base-jumping, rather than testing their faith on babies. If there is a god or gods, he/she/they/it created humans with brains, so why not use them?
