Originaly had a delivers Sept 29-Oct2 and now UPS says the watch will be delivered today?

I placed a preorder as soon as preorders went live for a 44mm Series 4 Stainless Steel and got a September 29-Oct2 delivery estimate, The Watch was shipped last night and the tracking number now says it’ll be delivered today yet the last event in the UPS log says Departure Scan from Suzhou, China, How is it going to be delivered today if it was just shipped yesterday and coming from China?

I have the exact same situation as you do. Unless the tracking information is not updated, then I also don’t see how I would be receiving mine today. Nonetheless, happy to see movement early versus having an early October delivery.

I was planning to line up at an Apple Store around 5:30am today but when I saw the email from Apple that said my preordered Series 4 will be delivered today I literally went straight back to bed and figured I’ll just wait for this to be delivered. I’d be surprised if this is some sort of glitch on UPS’ end

Curious to know if you do get yours delivered today, but I’m not sure on this one, my tracking information also shows in China, but I’m thinking its just not updated to the latest arrival scan.

I got an text 6:00 am est from ups moving the date from 9/21 to 9/24
Reference tracking still shows customs China

Cannot cancel order now and credit card wouldn’t let me try the stores

The status for my Series 4 SS 44mm is no longer scheduled to be delivered today as it was in the morning and this whole situation was indeed a glitch as I suspected and UPS screwed up big time. The status now says “
Clearance in Progress The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release.“

Exactly the same situation as mine. Mine will be delivered on Monday the 24th, which is fine, but very strange, as as a first with UPS tracking saying it would be delivered on the 21st, but yet it still shows in China.

If the UPS shipping manifest isn’t updated and still says China, I was under the impression that Monday or Tuesday being the next two business days for UPS will have the phone delivered, which would be the 24th or 25th. According to Apple, the latest would be the 25th.
