May I request one with the Steve Jobs logo for the "new" iPad that says Doug?
Thanks in advance! These are awesome!

Can't give you both with 3 styles. That will be 6 requests in all.
Pick 3, and kindly read the first post for the rules.
Thanks.
Just checking in. How long does it usually take to get these made? Just curious and definitely not rushing anyone.
I can understand your curiosity. Let me explain some of the behind-the-scene work.

I could not have said it better, nor could I agree more. My parents instilled similar values in me.You obviously take a lot of pride in your work, and it shows. My Dad taught me that it doesn't matter what you choose to do in life, always strive to do the best that you can.
You do great work. Thank you.![]()

Creating a wallpaper for IOS device that involves taking care of portrait and landscape orientations involves some kind of design considerations, since what works on landscape doesn't mean it will show up and/or work on the landscape mode. In fact there are "blindspots" on iPad wallpapers that will never show up in either mode. So the composition of the design is one of the problem for any good wallpaper; you need to know where to place what so that it will all show up nicely on the iPad in both modes and invoke some sort of an emotion, or tell a story. You need to know how to design for the particular context. What is nice visually to you may not turn out good when viewed on your iPad, and vise versa. What is more important is knowing what to design when viewed on an iPad. So this is part 1 of any good iPad wallpaper designs.
To illustrate my point, I will link you to this wallpaper I specifically created for a member here for his wedding. On first look, it looks empty, and awfully simple. But I plead you to install it on your iPad to have a look.

Secondly is level of details in the wallpaper. If you zoom in to my wallpaper, you will see a level of detailness everywhere. All these tiny details like adding subtle lightings, reflections, shadows, shades and highlights, color toning for different areas etc add to realism. They cannot be over-exaggerated, just the right amount though. That's the second part.
In the current version of this wallpaper, you can see vast amount of refinement compared to the version 1.0. Some of you might say "what kinda improvement and refinement do you need?? After all it's just a wallpaper!!". That's where you are wrong. A good wallpaper is both pleasing to the eyes and emotionally and subliminally convincing and invoking. And there is a science in creating these pleasing factors.
Right now I'm not working on these refinements, because they are mostly done in the current versions. What I'm working on right now is variations and added values for the same theme. Why do I do this? So that people don't get bored over using the same old wallpaper! It brings freshness to the users and allow them a peek into the vastly unlimited imagination of a designer - enhancing current iteration so that it evolves into something different yet retaining core values.
So it is not easy, and it is just part of good design. I'm still currently working on some details still. But this is a big overhaul, because I will be giving VARIATIONS and added customization to the same old wallpaper so that you have something for any given mood or occasions. So I think it takes some time for these to be done up. They cannot be rushed.
However I understand some of your impatience and frustration. So I will still fulfill all pending requests right now. They don't necessarily need to be fulfilled after the new release is done. So in any event I will update this thread while working on the new release.
It seems overkill to spend so much effort on something like a wallpaper. I mean... It's just a wallpaper dammit!! LOL! But you know... Focus is something I believe in my line of work. Nothing is overkill to me. My dedication to anything seemingly insignificant will work out to be something better for everyone eventually... or so I hope!
Thank you for your time.
