I have a reasonably fresh load of 10.2.8 and it "all-of-a-sudden" decided not to recognize or mount any of my IDE drives.

I have a G3 Beige with a 533 G4 upgrade and it has done some weird stuff in the past but never this one.

When I boot from a Norton disk (9.2) it sees all the drives I have on IDE... OSX is the problem here.

How do I get to "repair permissions" and have the system repair the drive header info?

Thanks for your indulgence here... MP
