We all hate the YouTube app. Well mytube is an alternative to that annoying app. No clue how it works. But you can also download videos from there. Not sticking it on the ipod or anything but in the app download. Great app and very useful.

+1. If you want downloads from YouTube, MxTube is great. If you want an alternative to using the YouTube app, viewing the YouTube website on Safari is amazing. They updated the touch/iPhone/iPod website and it's great with my iPod. I have significantly less issues and no crashing. Also, it's conveniently like using YouTube on your desktop, you don't have to press so many different things to see comments and related videos. It's all there.
