Outlook '11 not deleting msgs on quit

I have the scheduler tool set to empty my deleted messages when I quit Outlook, but it does not do this. I have to go to that folder, do a "select all" and delete.

I also had to do this in Entourage but figured that was an Entourage/OWA thing.

What am I missing?

You can also just right click on the folder and choose "Empty Folder"

OK, i just tested this and it does work.

You probably have the wrong folder checked..

Go and Edit your scheduler, Open the "Empty Deleted Items folder"

Then under the "Action" section, use the Dropdown where it says "FROM" and click Choose Folder, then find the correct Deleted items folder. You were probably on the wrong one. You were probably using "My computer" and you need to change that to the account you want.
