Pages, can't arrange my pages - permanently selected

Hi
Got a strange problem with Pages in which somehow I've got a yellow selection border around my pages and no matter what I do I can't rearrange them. I can't even select an individual page and paste it into a new document.

I think the mistake I made was inserting sections rather than page breaks but now I can't see a way to break it up into simple page breaks instead. Anyone come across this before and know how to fix it?
