I'm just trying to forget about her right now. Seriously, she is a dumb ass and its her own fault that she lost.

    Palin 2012!!!

But seriously, what did SHE lose again?? She was the running mate of McCain. She wasn't going for anything. Not like she could have won Vice Presidency without McCain winning the presidency.

She's likely to produce some gems over the next few days. She's being interviewed by Greta tonight on FOX, Matt Lauer tomorrow on Today and one other I can't remember.

First time I agree with Palin!!!

But it wasn't just Bush. It was you, it was McCain, it was the failed last 8 years and it was the sell out of your ideals

Actually, if it had been an electoral vote tie, the House of Representatives would choose the President while the Senate picks the Vice-President. So yes, she technically could win the VP spot without McCain.

This will give you a clue of the kind of hard hitting journalism Greta Van Susteren is doing now that she's at Fox News...

It's like Katie Couric with an ice skater in here.

Now that would have been quite interesting... Couldn't see the Senate choosing Palin though anyways, so I still say no chance in hell.

The GOP lost, let her go back to Alaska and the only people who have to deal with her will be people in Alaska, well they voted for her. They made their beds and now they must sleep in them.

I will say though that Palin is the Status que as she blames everyone but herself for HER failures.

And she got a $150,000 wardrobe out of it all, so she didn't really lose much tbh...

She's the real looser to be frank... ;)

Only a tiny tiny majority of users will get that joke

Didn't she publicly apologise a couple of days ago to John McCain, saying that she was sorry if she had lost him any votes? But now it's all George Bush's fault?

To be perfectly honest, Bush was so awful that any Republican candidate was starting at a disadvantage, just by having that (R) next to his or her name on the ballot.

However, she herself was the biggest mistake of the campaign. I'm sure McCain regretted picking her, even before she went rogue, because between her political machinations and her blank stares, she became, to the Democrats, the gift that keeps on giving.

She was way more responsible for the loss than Bush was.

"If" being the key word. Honestly, I don't think McCain lost because of Palin. McCain lost because of McCain. If Palin was given more leverage and was less poorly handled... she'd have been a bigger "asset", although she should NEVER have been picked in the first place... so, its McCain's fault.

Hmmm... I wonder what would happen if I called Obama a 'dumb ass' in these forums.

I imagine people will probably point out that at the very least, relative to Palin, he is most certainly not a dumb ass.

What do you think will happen?

I think if he had done interviews and performed like Palin did, you'd have a lot of agreement. Surely, you can't think that Obama and Palin have equivalent knowledge of US and world affairs.
