Stupider and stupider, crazier and crazier:

...And the Senate Finance Committee is the one that's been holding up progress on this whole thing, with their insistence on dropping the public option. And now this.

As for Palin, God help us if this woman ever took national office, because this woman is vile. (Or evil. You use the same letters.)

Even if there were death panels that **** would last about 5 days before the program was halted in its tracks. Americans aren't going to just stand by and let the government pull the plug on the elderly, and if I were to guess we wouldn't be waiting for the next election before someones ass was drawn up the flagpole in this weird scenario.

She's still spouting the death panel nonsense?

    That's unfortunate.

I know I am going to get flamed for saying this, but I think she made some non-bad points to support her earlier statement.

She's trying to backtrack, but I'm not convinced. She's trying to make it sound like offering end-of-life counseling is somehow pressuring people into making decisions they otherwise wouldn't make.

In her (excuse for a) mind, unless the patient him- or herself brings up the subject, the doctor shouldn't talk about it. He shouldn't be allowed to ask, "Are you interested in making out a living will?", because (to her) what he's really doing is hinting to old people that they could save the government a few bucks if they'd just kick off early.

    Yeah, right.

Her later comments about Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, well, I can't wait to hear a rebuttal from the doctor himself. I doubt very much he was talking about the kind of "rationing" Palin thinks he's talking about. There are certain conditions under which any insurer (or practitioner, for that matter) won't authorize a procedure. There's a reason why 98-year-old lifetime chain-smokers with lung cancer and CHF are at the bottom of the list for lung transplants.

    This is genuinely scary...

I read some of her profile page and wall on facebook. So many people saying "Thanks for telling the truth!" Are they being ironic?

    I just had an epiphany.

The reason Sarah Palin is afraid of "death panels" is not for her son Trig, it's for herself...she being the more brain-damaged of the two.

I love that she had the gall to tell the public to "stop making stuff up" (in honor of the American soldiers). Boy, I'm shocked that she's still a news story.

I am 39 and have been hospitalized twice for diverticulitis, an intestinal disease. Both times were non life threatening. Its quite common actually.

Both times during my hospital stays i was asked if i had a living will just as procedure. Why would this be an issue under Obamas plan seeing it is done already under private plans?

Because Obama's a Nazi bastard who wants to use old people as fuel for a fleet of hybrid cars. At least that's what the signs say.
