I'm so frustrated...I did a clean install of 10.3.4 coming from jag 10.2.8.**I then installed all of my apps including my new Suitcase 11, but I can't get Panther, Qxp 6.1a and Suitcase XI, to play nice. I set-up a folder on the HD with all of my purchased fonts (65 suitcases with about 700 fonts) and to that I added all of the various library fonts (Except for hd>system>fonts folder).**Extensis (Suitcase) Tech Support suggested doing this so that Suitcase could manage all of the fonts and thereby reduce most conflicts. Now, the only way to keep Qxp and other apps like Safari from crashing, is to set fonts in Suitcase as in-active (don't open unless needed).**The problem is, when I'm in Qxp and need a font, it's probably not in the drop down font list because it's not active.**So I have to go to Suitcase and activate the font so it will be available to me in the project. In Jag 10.2.8, Qxp 6.0 and Suitcase 10, I used to keep all of my fonts active.**Now, if I keep them all active, I get massive font conflicts which causes application crashes (fyi: I have over a gig of ram). So my question is, how did you guys set-up things?**What am I doing wrong?**Is this an acceptable way to manage a workflow, i.e., individually activating fonts as needed in a new Qxp Project? And another thing!**When I dragged all of my document files back from the external hd to my internal hd, all of the qxp, qxd and id preview icons have been replace by a blank page icon...wtf?
