Hello All,

I purchased the Font Bembo from Linotype and successfully placed in the font folder where it is active. It works fine with Pages but Word cannot find it. The most important part of this is I create stuff with Pages and have to export it to Word so I can send it out with Mail Merge which Pages doesn't do. I downloaded the Mac Postscript version.

Here is hardware and system info. G4 Quicksilver running 10.5.5

Thanks

What version of Word are you using? Have you fully updated Word and rebooted the machine? Does it show up in the Format>Font dialogue box?

Are you embedding the font into your Word document before sending it out? Because otherwise, it won't display properly for your recipients... I'm also wary of Microsoft's ability to work properly with Postscript anything. Personally, I would have gone for the Truetype version, not even Opentype.

Can you use the font in TextEdit? If so, what happens if you copy and paste a word in your new Bembo from TextEdit into a Word document?
